This project saw us updating a family home with lots of heritage charm, modernising the key spaces while preserving important aspects of its past. Timber flooring and joinery, soft white tones, Elba White natural stone, and pops of soft blue tiles form an inviting and warm aesthetic; paired with stained glass windows and decorative architectural features on the ground floor, the design seamlessly blends the old with the new.

In the entryway, delicate fretwork, a stained glass door and decorative cornices meet with a more contemporary staircase design and lighting fixtures. The kitchen now features plenty of storage, with an appliance cupboard and bar cupboard tucked behind bi-fold doors, while the large clear island is perfect for prepping and becomes a natural gathering point. An updated ensuite boasts a double vanity with integrated pull-out bin and plenty of eye-level storage, as well as an integrated pull-out hamper in the wall. The generous laundry is equipped with a 'mud room' area to make family life easier.

Extending the living spaces outdoors is the covered alfresco, connected to the home through large stacker doors and a servery window. Weather protection, soft lighting, and a ceiling fan ensure the atmosphere is comfortable year-round.
